Join the dBx Acoustics Team

Senior/Principal Consultant needed to join us in Manchester.

Could you be the next member of the dBx Acoustics team?

We’re looking for an experienced acoustic consultant to join the team in our central Manchester office.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of project management from quotes and contracts to calculations and reports. You’ll also help to train and mentor less experienced members of the team, and review the work of your colleagues.

We are a small team so you’ll sometimes be travelling to sites across the UK and should be aware that the role will occasionally require weekend and night time working, and overnight stays.

About You

We’re more interested in your experience and abilities, rather than your ‘years served’ in the industry. You’re able to manage your own workload and delegate effectively to deliver projects on time and on budget, even in a sometimes pressured environment. Your experience will include both building acoustics and environmental noise projects and you’ll be comfortable working on a broad range of schemes and multiple projects at any one time.

¬†You’ll be a good communicator, able to build and maintain relationships with clients old and new, as well as with your colleagues. We expect you to have a strong understanding of relevant standards and guidance, to be a Member of the Institute of Acoustics, and to hold relevant qualifications in acoustics.
